関東５社開運神社巡り Tour of five Kanto shrines for good luck

みなさん、こんにちは。英語は日本語の後で書いています。

今年のお正月はコロナによって、神社も、普段よりはお参りに来る方が少ないようです。

私はというと、幸先詣（さいさきもうで）をしました。

元旦ではなくて、12月30日、31日。と、2日間かけて、お参りをしてきました。

私が住んでいる。
近くの大宮神社ここは、国常立神（くにとこたちのかみ）を祀っています。

まず、ここからスタートしました。
最初には、鹿島神宮です。

国譲り、東国平定などで活躍した、武道の神様。
建御雷神（たけのみかづちのかみ）という神様が祀られています。

さざれ石が祀られています。

要石もあります。

タケノミカズチの神

その次は、香取神宮ここも、武道の神様。

経津主神（ふつぬしのかみ）
という神様が、祀られています。

私は特に、香取神宮の奥宮が好きです。

ここには、経津主神（ふつぬしのかみ）の神様の荒御魂（あたみたま）が祀られています。
香取神宮に行くなら、ここは行きたいところですね。
この奥宮の近くに、要石（かなめいし）というものがあります。

これは、鹿島神宮にもあるんですが、鹿島神宮の要石（かなめいし）と、香取神宮の要石（かなめいし）とが地下で、繋がっているという言い伝えがあります。
そして、この石を抑えることで、地震を防いでいるということも伝わっています。
東国三社。
鹿島と香取神宮は全国でも有名な神社ですが、もう一つ、息栖神社（いきすじんじゃ）という、神社があります。

香取神宮も鹿島神宮ともに、荒々しい武道の神様。

しかし、この息栖神社（いきすじんじゃ）というのは、この二つの神様を中和させている。

そして、この二つの神様の先導としても活躍したということが伝わっています。
神様は、くなどの神様（くなどのかみ）という神様です。

息栖神社（いきすじんじゃ）の御神体というのは、実は井戸なんですね。

忍塩井（おしおい）という井戸です。
日本の三霊水の一つです。

男瓶、女瓶という、二つの良い井戸から、太古の昔から、今に至るまで、ずっと湧水が出ているそうです。

そして本州の一番東にある、猿田神社（さるたじんじゃ）

ここは、猿田彦大神（さるたひこのおおかみ）が、祀れられています。

面白いのは、伊勢の地にも、猿田彦大神（さるたひこのおおかみ）いて海の中で亡くなったと。

いうふうに伝わっています。

ところが、ここ銚子の猿田神社では、そこから大きな貝に乗って、銚子の猿田神社に降臨したいう伝説が残っているそうです。

猿田神社ここの奥宮（おくのみや）に、猿田彦大神（さるたひこのおおかみ）の降臨の地がひっそりと、祀られています。
猿田彦の神は先導役。つまり、導きの神様ですね。

ここにある御神水や御神砂は人気があるそうです。

また空海（くうかい）がこの地を平安時代に訪れ、開眼したと伝わっています。
次に鎌数伊勢大神宮（に生きました。ここでは天照大御神（あまてらすおおみかみ）が祭られています。

御神木は、鍾乳洞のようになっている大きな杉の木。
夫婦杉というふうに、書かれています。
最後に千葉県の山武市というところにある御中主神社（みなかぬしじんじゃ）

日本の神話に出てくる一番最初の神様である天ノ御中主神（あまのみなかぬしのかみ）が祀られています。

ここはカーナビさえも、きちんと出てこない。
本当に小さい神社です。

他に、スサノオ（スサノオの大神）とタケノミナカタ（たけのみなかた）諏訪の神様ですね。

この3人を祀っています。

この神社なんですが、非常に青々としており、良い神社でした。

このようにして戻ってきたんですが、最後の最後に、自分の祖先を祀ってあるお墓をお参りして、合計で八社を巡礼してきました。
昨年は、コロナによって、社会の仕組みが、いろいろと変わってきました。
今年も、同じようになる可能性が今のところ高いかも知れません。
しかし、きっとこれは、良い方向に向かっている。
また、良い方向を作っていくっていうことが、誰しもできるんではないか。
そんなふうに考えています。
皆さんは、お参りに行かれましたか。
私のように、幸先もうということ。
した人もいるかも知れません。
2021年更に良い年にして参りましょう。

How are you spending your New Year’s Day?
This New Year’s Day, depending on the corona, I think there were fewer worshippers than usual.

Omiya Shrine near where I live
The Omiya Shrine near where I live is dedicated to Kunitokotachi no Kami.

We started from here.
First is the Kashima Shrine.

This is the god of martial arts who played an active role in the transfer of the country and the pacification of the eastern provinces.
Takemikazuchi-no-mikoto, the god of martial arts, is enshrined here.

Next is Katori Shrine, another god of martial arts.
Futsunushi no Kami (God of Futsunushi)
Next is Katori Shrine, where the god of martial arts, Futsunushi-no-kami, is also enshrined.

I especially like the Inner Shrine of Katori Jingu.
I especially like the inner shrine of Katori Jingu Shrine, where the Arajin, the god of the Buddhists, is also enshrined.
If you want to go to Katori Jingu, this is the place to go.
Near the inner shrine, there is a stone called “Yokuishi”.

Legend has it that the Yoseishi of Kashima Jingu and the Yoseishi of Katori Jingu are connected underground.
It is also said that suppressing these stones will prevent earthquakes.
Sanja shrines in eastern Japan.
Kashima Shrine and Katori Shrine are the most famous, but there is another shrine called Ikusu Shrine.

Both Katori Jingu and Kashima Jingu are gods of rugged martial arts.

However, this shrine, Ikisu Shrine, neutralizes both of these gods.

And the story goes that it also played the role of a leader of these two gods.
The name of the deity is Kuutoranokami.

The deity of Ikisujinja is actually a well.

The well is called “Oshii”.
It is one of the three most sacred waters in Japan.

It is said that the water from two good wells, one for men and one for women, has been flowing since ancient times to the present.

And Saruta Shrine is located in the eastern most part of Honshu.

This shrine is dedicated to the god Sarutahiko.

What is interesting is that Ise also had a Sarutahiko deity who died in the sea.

It is said that he died in the sea.

However, here at the Saruta Shrine in Choshi, there is a legend that the god came down from the sea on a large shell and descended to the Saruta Shrine in Choshi.

The place where Sarutahiko descended is quietly enshrined in the inner shrine of Saruta Shrine.
Sarutahiko is the god of guidance. In other words, he is the god of guidance.

It is said that the sacred water and sand here are very popular.

It is also said that Kukai visited this place in the Heian period (794-1185) and had his eyes opened.
The next stop was the Kamazu Ise Grand Shrine. This shrine is dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami.
The sacred tree is a large cedar tree that looks like a stalactite cave.
In Japanese, it is called “married couple cedar.
Finally, there is Minakanushi Shrine in Yamatake City, Chiba Prefecture.

This shrine is dedicated to the god Minakanushi of Amano, the first god in Japanese mythology.

The car navigation system does not show this place properly.
It is really a small shrine.

The other two deities enshrined here are Susanoo, the great god of Susanoo, and Takenominakata, the god of Suwa.

These three are enshrined here.

This is the shrine, and it was very lush and nice.

We came back in this way and visited the graves of our ancestors at the end, making a total of eight pilgrimages.
Last year’s Corona changed the structure of our society in many ways.
The same thing will most likely happen again this year.
But there is no doubt that it is heading in the right direction.
I believe that we can all move in the right direction again.
That’s how I feel.
